Weekly classes:
Level 1/Fundamentals of FatChance® style.
Sundays from at 10am Pacific Time/USA
This class introduces you to Classic, Modern and Dialect. Learn, drill and build skills and confidence in the concepts of leading and following. Not sure what level you are? Start here.Cost: $20 for 4-weeks
Level 2/3: Intermediate and Beyond
Sundays at 11am Pacific Time/USACost: $20 for 4-weeks
For dancers proficient in Level 1 Classic, Modern and Dialect. We look at advanced steps and concepts from Level 2-3 including Cues & Transition, Picky Technique, Musicality and lots of leading and following. Not sure what level you are? Level 2 is by teacher approval, contact me with questions.
Cost: $20 for a 4-week block of classes.
Level 2 students are welcome and encouraged to attend both Level 1 and 2 classes.

January 2021:
January 16th (zoom): Evolution of Movement: Dance Your History. This 3-hour zoom workshop is an exploration of the evolution of movements -- from Vintage to Modern. Join Kathy as she shares living history from the early days of FatChance® to present day as we learn and drill the evolution of movements. Bring your zils!
Cost: $30 general or
$20 for returning students from the Evolution of Music and Movements, December workshop (co-sponsored by Virginie Violett, Germany)
January 30th (Migrations, TX): Flamenco Flair for Improv. This 2-hour workshop takes us on a trip to Southern Spain with a focus on slow and fast Flamenco-inspired movements for improvisational dancers of all styles. Perfect for the soloist for group improv, this Flamenco Flair workshop is for anyone interested in expanding improvisational Flamenco-inspired technique. Get ready to move, have fun and say Ole!
Cost: $35, early bird special is $30
March 2021:
March 7th (zoom): Vintage Sword. This 1.5 hours workshop takes you back in time, to the vintage years of FatChance®. Learn OG sword dialect, including Carolena’s favorite improvised sword choreography originally performed by early members of FatChance®, including Carolena and Kathy.
Cost: $25 for general (co-sponsored by Virginie Violett, Germany)
2020:
December 20th: Evolution of Music & Movements. Join former FatChanceBellyDance® member, Kathy Stahlman, as she shares music and movement history from the first decade of FatChanceBellyDance®.
